It will certainly get views so nice bit of marketing, however the review is just opinionated and needs to be factual and weighted accordingly
That shallow DOF is crazy! Almost looks unnatural.. what camera, lens and S E T T I N G S? 😛 😀
Chelsea you need to hold your ground!!!
So nikon is better for wildlife because of ?
I believe that it was unjust to give the battery to the Sony, but it’s a matter of taste. I am on the impression that Chelsea agrees with me (maybe a tie). Pro services: Have you tried Sony’s outside the USA? (I have never so it’s about curiosity, not saying that I disagree). The autofocus, yes the Nikon does not has the fantastical eye AF, but what it has it actually work. I prefer that, but video LV AF is so abysmal that could not agree more with the result. Stability is key for me. I don’t need the camera to go parilized because they decided to use SD cards only. But when working the Sony is a fantastic camera. They are so close that is a matter of priorities and taste.
Sony ergonomics can get better with the $300 Sony grip or a $80 clone grip. It also holds two batteries and will charge them both at the same time with cable, and it is basically impossible to use two batteries in one day of shooting.
Two lovely cameras. I think it’s easier just to call them the best mirrorless and the best DSLR. 😉
I have the A7RIII, but would love to have a D850 as a secondary cam.
So this video was shot on Canon 6Dii. Right?
hey guys love your channel! what’s going on with your camera today is it new or use a different process to color grade? the color is a lot more vibrant than usual! not in a bad way either!
Chelsea 😍
I prefer a camera not a phone with a lens mount. D850 all the way.
too much pixels for me 🙁
i would trade all those pixels for a flippy screen, better touch screen experience and better connectivity. so a canon 😉
If I had to choose (more like if I had the opportunity to choose) between either of them I’d go for the Nikon, because I already have Nikon lenses. I can’t say anything about the viewfinder other than I tried the EVF in an a6000 and it felt slightly delayed, no idea how the a7R III compares though.
Funny how no one ever mentions you can turn on “WYSIWYG Exposure with Nikon’s too” and use live view to set exposure. Check your manual, It’s a simple press of the “OK” button to turn on or off on my D500. I bet the D850 has it as well. It’s called Exposure Preview.
You guys are the best! Loved the photos. As with most things, the answer is “it depends” (and somehow trolls are gonna call you shills for Sonikon).
is it only me ? or the video quality just looks real fineeeee !
Lol @ 1:30 when Chelsea pronounces Nikon correctly. Funny ;-D
Hey guys! Absolutely love your videos! If I can pick your brains quickly. Best value 35 of choice for nikon?
Yeah not having to charge the battery with a separate charger is just great.
I feel it is unfair to compare a conventional DSLR with mirrorless. They are two different genres. It is not an apples to apples comparison. Once Nikon launches its own mirrorless, comparison would be more meaningful.
