There is one more, the most important category, which is the brand… definitely Sony wins…
6:28 best part of the whole thing
Hi, I hope you’ll answer me because I’m really interested: why you’re going to use the nikon for wildlife over the sony?
The Japanese title pronounced as ‘neekon’, not a ‘naikon’ as you say. Stop it ) check the wiki for the right sound. By the way, good job! Your show is fun to watch
Tony & Chelsea, you are both very cool and always make interesting videos, thank you very much.
Can I go out on a limb, and say 10 years from now, both of these cameras will be near the bottom of the pile, albeit, still producing wonderful images! Technology is happening so fast, it’s hard to know what they could possibly add to cameras, although perhaps 5K, more stabilization, better grip on mirrorless, and sensor perfection! Because of my big hands, I’d choose the Nikon D850, as my current D750 has what I feel (so far) the perfect grip for my man hands!
Golf !!! LOLZZ
9:08 “What is this thing that we’re missing? ‘Cause I feel like they’re closer than that.” Well, Chelsea, among many other things, you’re missing the fact that not all of your categories carry equal weight. “Silent shooting” certainly doesn’t rival “Selection of lenses” in importance. The weighting of the categories is also subjective: some users will value ergonomics a lot more than others. I shoot with a Canon APS-C camera, so I don’t have a vested interest in which of these two fancy full-frame cameras wins (Nikon or Sony). It was more the failure of quantitative reasoning (how to rank something and to interpret the results of your ranking) that I found irksome and felt compelled to comment on.
“They have the Huevos” LOL!! Very good spanish Tony.
7:03 theres an on camera app sony offers for timelapses. haven’t tried it yet but I think it will do the job.
I wish I had the budget for the Sony. It would be perfect, but I guess I have too make do with something more affordable for now.
Am I the only one still shooting on a Nikon D700?
What did you shoot this video on? My eyes are freaking out! In a great way.
I don’t get it. Why does this guy seem so biased?
I’ve had a Nikon D7200 for like 5 years, its worked an absolute dream but I’m deciding to move to Sony instead. Sad time as im a massive Nikon Fan but there new mirrorless is SO expensive
Sony has a real winner with its zoom lenses. An example: the 24-105 is so much sharper than the Nikon (& Canon) equivalents. With a price to match, of course. But you’re getting what you pay for. Also, I’ve noticed the Sonys produce really nice sunstars. Too many Nikon lenses lack the optical quality to match their superb sensors.
Low light.. high ISO? I can shoot indoor sports on my D850 at 6,400 and not blink an eye.
Interesting review – almost a domestic!
What Lens was used to shoot this video?
I enjoyed this video. It’s fun watching both of you interact. Hah I say Nai-kon too, but people are always trying to correct me saying it’s “Nick-kon”. Nope… I say Nai-kon haha
