Hi, thanks for video. So I’m mainly looking to do dental photography but would like to use it for landscape and street shoots as well. Video is not a big factor at all. I’ve read Canon tends to oversaturate reds which could be a problem when capturing the gums around teeth. Between the three cameras you mentioned (D80, 7200, and 7500), is there one you would recommend for me? Thanks in advance

hey..your video was really helpful…but still I have issues with upgrading from D5200…
i find myself really attracted to the 7500.. but video is a priority for me specifically the autofocus as the 5200 is not at all good at it…I have seen the Canon 77d…but still I happen to have more Nikon accessories…so which one to pic?

Ive been using my moms Nikon D5000 for a while now and i recently decided that an almost decade old camera needs to be replaced. It has no ISO button, i have to do it manually and thee are only like 11 focus points. This video convinced me that the D7500 will most likely be my next dslr.

How do You explain so many people were making their living with 5D, 5D MkII, D700, D300… not so long ago and not having two card slots? How many cards died on You in last 10 years. I had one SD that stopped working after i dropped on the wood floor and stepped on it. The biggest issue with that camera I have is that has no full support for Nikon manual lenses they have bragged about for years before that one came about. And that is the issue as You would want a lens with long manual throw focus for video.

No battery grip? i’ll carry my battery in my backpack. Then i don’t have to deal with all the extra weight of the grip itself.

If they had called it the D5700, they wouldn’t be getting any flack at all. That would have made it’s purpose more obvious, which is clearly an advanced enthusiast camera, and not a “pro” camera, at all. The D500 is really your new D7500. A terribly blown marketing campaign that pissed off price conscious pro’s, but made D5600 enthusiasts users like me, grin like the cat that ate the canary.

I’m thinking about buying this camera – it’s my first DSLR. I want to use it primarily for video, and I see a lot of people talking about the sony a7iii which looks great but is a bit out of my price range. Any ideas for a alternative to this camera at around the same price or is this one good? It seems really great!
