Basically everywhere influenced by the UK more than the US starts counting floors from 1 AFTER the ground floor. So most of Europe and many Asian and African countries. It’s certainly a weird adjustment.

I get why people were unhappy with the Better Help sponsorship (they should be), but it’s a real shame cause this is one of Danny’s best and most entertaining videos, it’s obvious he worked pretty hard on it. So yeah, great video, Danny, you just need to really inform yourself about the company that’s sponsoring you.

Danny I have heard so many bad things about Better Help, therapy is great in principle but it’s really hard for people to find good resources, and a bad therapist can sometimes do more harm than not having one at all.

I’m a long time fan of yours Danny, but I honestly find it repulsive that you have accepted a sponsorship from BetterHelp. I do not believe that you’re unaware of their practices, I think you even tweeted about the huge scandal that they had a few years ago. I never expected you to be the kind of person who would willingly gamble with your supporters’ well-being just because some dollars were dangled in front of you. Literally anyone can start working for BetterHelp, they have absolutely zero systems in place to properly check the credentials of their “therapists”, who have been known for victim blaming and mocking their clients! Every influencer/youtuber accepts a shitty sponsorship now and again, but this isn’t about some earbuds with subpar sound, this is about people’s MENTAL HEALTH and it should not be taken lightly under any circumstances. How dare you promote this to your fanbase, to people who have supported you with so much enthusiasm and love? It’s disgusting. Do better.

Danny literally stated in the video he’s going to therapy for not feeling good enough and then the comments are blasting him for one mistake. Yeah it wasn’t a great sponsor choice but that’s literally all it is… a small mistake.

I couldn’t imagine what it feels like having thousands of people say they are disappointed in you for an error. In normal work, a boss will tell you “hey you messed up here” and then you fix it… but I’d imagine that being a content creator, having thousands of people tell you that at once is a lot.
