I think what Apple is doing is to capture the business phones segment. This allows companies to buy a capable phone in bulk, and at a great price. If i’m procuring a business phone for my fellow colleagues, there’s really not many other options to choose from.

iphone 13 mini (128 GB) starts at 699 and new SE (128 GB) is for 479. I would definitely spend $220 more to get mini.

Waited 5 years for an upgrade to my iphone 8, and i got an iphone 8 again… what a no no apple, i said id buy the next iphone with a button , but i wont, time to go to other brands

If you have the SE 2020, this phone literally is not needed. Stick with the 2020 SE until the new 14 mini comes out.

I upgraded from iphone 6 to a 8 in ’19, almost 3 years with the 8 now because I still want the Home Button. Glad to see an Iphone SE ’22 release. Might finally upgrade to something like this. Although I will admit, the classic square body design that the 12/13 have now from the Iphone 5 days is a much sexier look than the previous regime.

You’re right I agree..”but by how much ? ” Apples pricing structure is all about apple not the consumer, they took away the battery, saved on cardboard cost for the box .. pass that savings to the consumer nope, raise the price instead. Not about the phone but the company,. Ok couple things about the phone 64 GB starting.. really for $429.00 that’s just not right, so assuming usable space is say 41 GB and you use the 4K recording you’re out of space .. oh but wait hmm they can charge you on cloud.. nice .. also while the HD photos and 4K video might be awesome, set your expectations when viewing them on the phone as the screen is an LCD panel that only goes up to 720p. Get the iPhone 11 much better deal.
