Tbh if it wasn’t for the fact that Fido sold me an iphone 12 mini for literally 70$CAD, I would just have upgraded from my SE 2020 to this new SE. I really like the budget phones from apple even if the body bit outdated.

I have an iPhone SE 2020 and love it. However, I am annoyed it isn’t 5G ready like other iPhones. Also, I think there is a slight difference between the SE2/3 to the iPhone 8 as the Apple logo on the back is in the middle rather than nearer the top.😀

Hey MKBHD, why don’t you just say NO to this big mess, offering a design from 2017 for 450$ even with a new chip, but with an hd screen and a single camera, even a Pixel 5A can do better and can last longer, a shitty battery life and surely no charger included. I know you’re here to promote it but, c’mon you’re a tech guy and you know that no one gonna like a phone like this !

I really wish apple made a bigger screen in this body. I need a powerful chip, I want a bigger display, but don’t need all those useless quad camera systems. No matter how good they are I won’t use them when I have a professional camera.

iPhone Student Edition
As I first ever iPhone, at first, I was thinking of buying it, especially once I heard its going to be released, but because I don’t like the small factor, I went for the 11 instead.
Not to mention that 5G is not beneficial still..

Love that they kept it the same and I love my iPhone 8. Sure is funny how no one mentions the iPhone 13 is basically the same thing as an iPhone X with gesturing being exactly the same and slightly squared off edges, but oh no the SE is the “old one.”

Love the home button and people forget Steve Jobs wanted the home button. At least this phone hasn’t become butchered for the masses because 16-year-old girls get “bored” with everything in 10 minutes

I can certainly afford an iPhone 13 Pro if I wanted one, but to me this is still the most interesting phone it’s like a sleeper. I.e. putting a powerful engine in an older car and surprising everyone with the result. As for battery life, who cares, we have chargers at home we have chargers in the office we have chargers in the car, no big deal

I think what you aren’t considering is that we want a simple phone I like Touch ID over Face ID. I like the home button. I like having just one camera if it means the phone will be cheap yet offer the reliability of an iPhone.

My main gripe with the SE as it stands now is the form factor and the battery I wish they had kept the square design of the original SE but hey it is what it is. I really just use the phone for Google maps, calling/texting, watching YouTube on the go and Reddit. I don’t really need the latest and greatest to do any of that.
