I think it is great that Apple keeps updating the iPhone SE while still maintaining the form factor.

For many senior citizens, who have a steep learning curve trying to keep up with tech these days, it is a perfect update. My mom (84) has used the past two iPhone SE models and the low-end iPad for some years now. Loosing the home button would be a nightmare for her, having to learn even more gesture controls…

So, really happy that Apple sticks with this design.

I pre-order the 2022 SE mainly because it’s using LCD screen. There is a minority group of people who are experiencing eye strain, headache, nausea, etc due to the pwm of OLED display. Which ever brand could come up with the newest phone with LCD, they got my $.

I dun understand why doesn’t Apple just use their iPhone XR body for SE phones? Like it is much better then using this outdated body and XR is itself 4 years old at this point. It would be the same for Apple I dun think they’ll have to put any more or new resources for it.

I am a simple guy when it comes to my phone. I have an iPhone 8 that I plan on trading in. This is my dream phone since it literally gives me 5+ more years of touch id. For me I like the classic design and i’m convinced it only seems so small to everyone because they have been using larger screens with no bezels for so long it’s hard to go backwards. I get it.

i use 13 mini as personal and an SE2020 as a work phone. I prefer the feel of the SE to hold and would upgrade to the new one if it had magsafe….. i read the specs for the new one and of course the only upgrade I wanted isn’t there…magsafe. I suppose no magsafe is what keeps it so wonderfully thin and nice to hold. who knows. (i use magsafe as a car mount for the 13 and would love to be able to slap the SE up there when it needs a charge)

Why not use the body of the 8+ and have an SE+? Dual camera and larger battery. No new machining needed.

I say it again I lowkey miss the iPhone se that home button bruh 😩 it just made it so much easier navigating thru ur apps and the fact that was my first ever iPhone cos before I was just a simple android user but I guess that’s just me being sentimental lol but anyways I had to upgrade to the 12 and then get the 13 cos strangely I was having alotta problems with the 12 I’m not a heavy user I only use like google Instagram and Pinterest I hardly ever Play any Media unless am way from home or at work :p

I just bought a iPhone 13mini less than a month ago, upgrading from my iPhone 6S. No joke, I almost went with the SE just because I prefer the fingerprint reader over FaceID.

For those wondering I just keep FaceID off on my 13mini and type in my code.
