You mention it should have a 120hz screen but it would literally have horrible battery life and not even the iPhone 13 has that.

People who are bitching that it doesn’t have flagship specs don’t understand that this is not an enthusiast phone. It’s for those of us who just want a small, pocketable phone with touch ID. That’s all I really need. This thing will easily last you 4-5 years, if you take care of it.

A better 2022 version of iPhone SE would have been to use iPhone XR body giving better battery life, full screen display. And still staying low in the lineup with 60Hz LCD display, single camera. Price it at $450 and discontinue iPhone 11.

as an SE user, longevity is by far the most important part. I’m still rocking the original SE I got in 2017. Performance is still fine for everything I do, it’s just about time I replace the battery. The only thing I don’t like about the newer SE’s is the size. They’re huge. Would much rather they switch to a for factor like the Mini, or hell, if I could get the original SE body with a new chip, that’d probably be my ideal phone.

For me the iPhone 7 was good enough (image stabilization on a really good camera being the last feature that I really wanted upgrading from iPhone 6s) so I had 2 for a total of 5 years. Currently using a iPhone SE 2020 and other than wanting a bigger battery the phone is good enough and I don’t see a need/want to go higher for features that I will not use (Lidar being the possible exception, but that be more of a toy feature).

I think that the iPhone SE 4 will probably be in either the iPhone X body or the iPhone 13 mini body. I also hope that we will get a 120hz refresh rate.
