About a month ago I was hesitant to buy a new phone as I was using the 2020 SE(bought in august 2020) and by now I had already replaced the battery in it once just because the on-screen time was horrible, but the leaks kept coming in about 2022 SE and I decided to go with my gut and get the regular iphone 12 which I honestly don’t regret.It’s so much more value pick over any SE, can recommend this to anyone who is looking to get one and doesn’t have more money to spend on a phone(like I was).Besides for some reason the 12s are getting massive price cuts these days.

Apple surely could improve this phone battery, camera, and front screen while keeping it simple with the touch id and such for the same price or a little bit more, but they won’t because you’ll buy it anyways. they will remove the headphone jack and call it innovative while pushing dongles and you’ll buy it anyways, they will remove the charging brick and give you a cord that you don’t have a brick for, and you’ll buy it anyways, they will remove all USB A while you buy a USB A hub on a$ 2000 laptop or computer because why? YOULL BUY IT ANYWAYS

My question is. If using an old body helps keep it cheap… Why not use an XR or 11 body for an SE??

It’s nice how Marques actually shows that he likes the SE. I’m still rocking the 2nd Gen was about to upgrade to the 13 mini but the new 3rd Gen just dropped I would save 400$. Idk this is a hard choice. Might just go with the 13 mini for the extra battery but is it even a big difference? Needing some opinions

That’s going to be my next phone if the iPhone 14 doesn’t do something massive or, at the very least, add Touch ID back in. Hell, I’d settle for even getting rid of the notch honestly. If it doesn’t do any of that, I’m fine with moving from an 8 to an SE. Saves money and gives me a faster phone, win/win. The 8 already covers everything else I need in a smartphone and while the newer ones are nice in their own way, the drawbacks are enough to make me not want them at their insane prices.

Well IMO iPhone SE using the iPhone X’s body would have been a perfect budget iPhone.
An extra Ultrawide lens, bigger battery, newer design for the SE lineup, FHD+ screen.
