Sorry but no, this phone makes absolutely no sense, there is no reason to buy this over SE2020 – the performance overhang of a13 is still ridiculous

In my opinion there should be a iPhone SE Pro at around 600-700 ish dollars. It would be iPhone 13 mini size but a worse camera and a better display. The display would be around 5.5-6 inches in screen size. It would have smaller bezels. Lots of people may not want a iPhone stylised like the 13s. In my opinion this iPhone SE Pro would be a good middle ground between a SE and a 13 or 13 pro. This in my opinion would be ideal for many people

What I HATE is that they won’t bring the gesture navigation to these phones. Like, they brought it to the budget iPad, and made it so that the iPad basically never needs a button press… Why don’t they unlock this same function on the 2022 SE (and every Touch ID iPhone for that matter), so people don’t have to press the home button all the damn time?

SE is just the minimal feature set to get users into apple ecosystem. The premise of “expanding SE” defeats the idea of SE.

This phone is perfect for me, it has everything i need and nothing i dont. i have the 2020 SE and am happy that I will be able to grab this phone used and ride it for 2 more years when the 2020SE is no longer supported.

2:06 No, it won`t. You will have to change battery after 3-4 years. From an official place, because of Apple`s anti-repair policies.
Most people don’t care about the best cpu, especially if a battery is bad and display is below average.

I personally feel like they should have advanced to the iPhone XR design now that the phone has been discontinued. That phone rocked the budget world and I’m sure they wouldn’t have a hard time switching to the manufacturing of that.

This 2022 SE has probably the same camera as the 2018 XR plus the new software photo processing capabilities of the A15 of course. On paper (website) it looks like it!
