Most people who get the iPhone SE will NOT care if they can get iOS 20 or whatever. They care about how long they can go without charging their phone. Or how snappy their phone is (120Hz). Or how good their phone looks. Or how big the screen is or how GOOD the screen looked. They won’t care about how much performance there is.

It’s seems more like the idea and thinking of the original iPhone being small compact and capable, where it might be headed i think is the mini series right now will eventually take the place of the SE being small and compact and later continue on in the same way once they perfect the small notch design

They could have done it using the iPhone XS body and change the 2x with ultra-wide camera.They could have used iphone 11’s hardware to reduce cost. Perfect phone for good price.

The logical move would be to upgrade to an iPhone X structure… however, i don’t think people would keep buying the newer versions of iPhone if that were the case, it would be too good

I just want an iphone mini with 120hz display.
I don’t need face id, touchid in the home button will do. So we can also remove that ugly ass notch.
I also don’t need triple cameras, nobody really uses all those cameras anyway.

How about this: what if the next iPhone SE comes in the body of an iPhone 12/13 mini coz anyway there are rumours of Apple discontinuing that model, so why not recycle that design? Remove the face id and put a fingerprint in the power button and they’ve got a new design for next 3 iPhone SE.
