I DO really like the home button, still. Every time I pick up someone else’s SE (or iPhone 6…), it feels so good. I’m just willing to sacrifice it for a bigger screen.
If only there was a way to implement it with 3D touch. Oh wait… (I’m not looking forward to the day I give up my iPhone X and 3D touch.)

Ngl, I’m kinda dissapointed with this SE. I’ve been a user for the SE (2016) and SE (2020) and currently using the latter. I upgraded from the former mainly because the exterior change (not a heavy user so don’t really care that much abt the chip). I was really hoping that this SE would use the exterior of the iP X or XR or something or the sort (keep the notch without putting in the face id), but yeah, guess I’m not upgrading my phone this time.

For me I really don’t care about the camera and refresh rate but if they removed the bezels and make the battery bigger or a external battery case that’s more than enough

Right now the issue I have with my se 2020 is typing on a small screen

I sell phones and i have to say that it seems like processing power is way more important than you might ever imagine to the average person. I have a lot of experience with selling phones with all those important features (battery, camera high refresh display) and the only thing missing is the flagship processor those are the ones i get the most complaints out of.

There are literal flagships cheaper than that of SEs at launch of SE 2 2020 the GT NEO 1 OR AKA X7 MAX was an overall better device for balance
Yeah you have the latest chip but slow charging and small battery so no gaming
D1200 chipset 3 year software update saving 20k rs that’s basically $180 to $250 of saving trading the camera system for quality to versatility
PS: the chipset is basically a 865+ but more efficient

In 2020 then can use 3 year old 2017 iPhone 8 body then why not in 2022 use 3 year old iPhone 11 body with new chip?

If they did new research, new body, new camera positioning, that would probably end up being a iphone 13 mini, which they already have…And that wouldn’t be a budget phone .. So I think everything’s right, its old school cause it had to save those money of research…

i feel like this phone is the ultimate budget iPhone for APPLE primarily and the customer secondly.
“how can we reach the sub $500 market with the least R&D possible?”

edit: also add that it’s probably the biggest profit margin on a 400 dollar phone

BELOW AVG=EVERYTHING ELSE? yet this little phone outperforms many higher end android phones lol the processing power alone is great on its own. also when you use GPS almost everyone connects their car charger to the phone. that being said id rather take the mini. who cares about a home button smh
