Updating this “formula” to use the iPhone XR body would have made more sense. It would blend in with the whole line up design wise.

I know about 3 people that bought the last SE…they’re all people that don’t really care about technology and wanted an iPhone. It’s a good phone but it’s not made for most of us that would watch this video. So you don’t gotta express that you don’t like it. No one cares. Apple doesn’t care either.

i think the performance bit is exaggerated. i bought an iphone se 2 in 2020, and it absolutely doesn’t perform today the same way it did two years ago. the storage is nearly full, the battery runs out quicker, and it just feels slightly more laggy opening apps. i don’t know how well it will perform another two years later.

If they ever do move from the iPhone 8 body for the SE, they’ll probably switch to the XR’s, cheaper materials than the X, it’s a body that they mass produced for two phone lines and it still only has one camera.

I feel like they could use the shell of the newer flagship phones and make a screen with a home button for that shell or make a cheaper screen and add an android like software home button and enable it out of the box. Sadly its Apple so this will never happen.
