Pre-ordered it and it is my first iPhone since the iPhone 3GS. It is also the most expensive phone I bought. Hopefully I’ll like it.

Why not use the 8 plus body with a slight upgraded camera module can someone please explain cause I loved my 8 plus it was perfect for it time so why not upgrade it

Literally buying a second had iPhone from 11 series onwards is a better deal than this one, it’s just there to fill a step in the iPhone ladder’s aka they won’t people to spend $70 more for 11

As great as this phone is, it will always be followed by the stigma of being “the cheapskate iPhone”. The only reason why people are still buying it is because they really hate Android but they don’t have enough money for a 13 or 13 Mini. Because of the elitist nature of Apple diehard fans, what could be an amazing mid-range phone, turns into the phone you are afraid to to use in public in case someone makes fun of you for being poor. It’s a shame really….

anyone who says this is a good value phone doesn’t know what he’s talking about. the flagship internals are wasted on a phone this tiny and a screen so pathetic. i think 95% of users would care more about the display and a more capable camera or more base storage than the latest processor.

I been buying this phone since the new iphones got rid of the home button for my grandparents and it is amazing for older people. The only thing i would love is more screen real estate cause the small keyboard makes it a little difficult for them to type.

As an iPhone 8 user I can say,, Omfg Apple want scams you again 😀 .

But really people, I am using the 8 version from 2017, had 2 times replaced the battery and still works as new, specially with the ios 15 update..

If you really want to “save” money on apple products, just buy a used iphone 8 … 😀

The iPhone SE I think are for the people who are just the callers and that is it. May be a texter (or WhatsApp whatever you use) it’s for those people who don’t do much with a phone and don’t want to pay a lot for one but want an iPhone.
