I still use the se2, now for just a bit longer than 1 year, and I still love it. You get used to the screen really fast, and I’m not missing annything about it. I love the smaller form factor, that was one of the main reasons I went for it.
So yeah, in my opinion it is a really ballanced phone for a big group of people. because it is everything you need, for not to much money, but still with good build quality and not the plasticy cheap feel of nearly all budget android phones.

Price should definitely be like $100 cheaper. 64GB base model is way too little for 2022 especially after all the storage used by IOS.

Using the body of Xr could be better,(the display would be a bit better,no mass production issue acc to me )plus they could use the A14 bionic instead of A15🤷🏻‍♂️

I still have the first iPhone SE (2016). I don’t care that much for the home button but what I do care is the fingerprint reader. I hope the new iPhones will have a fingerprint sensor under the screen. Otherwise I will probably buy this new iPhone SE
Also, for future iterations, Apple should use the “Mini” body. Would be perfect.
