Although the A15 bionic chipset increases its overall performance and longevity but with the software updates, battery of the phone gradually become incompatible with the software. The user will either be compelled to carry a charger all the time or switch to a new phone after 2 years or so.

One thing to keep in mind is video watching will actually be bigger on the SE Compared to the mini because of aspect ratio. 16×9 is still dominant.

I think if they could just increase only the battery to the capacity of the iphone 13 pro max. that would be a game changer. JUST THE BATTERY ONLY, leaving every other thing in place. of course it might get thicker but its very forgivable. just increase the battery capacity significantly

These SE phones are perfect for adults who don’t give a crap about cutting edge tech, or companies that want cheap/reliable work mobiles to issue.

Like my parents, grandparents, senior managers, etc can barely tell the difference between an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 13. All they know is that they can navigate iOS, they want a phone that’s not slow af after a year, and they don’t want to pay $800+ for an upgrade with all the bells and whistles they won’t use.

Apple already reduced the quality of it’s phones component but they increased the price,
Example – See the quality of sim removal tool, I don’t know how much they saved from it but it’s a worst quality item. Before every iPhone had its serial number etc printed on the back side of the phone but now nothing, they saved the laser printing cost. No charger now, small package etc, all the way apple is only upgrading their price day by day but not the quality.

This phone is for (US) elderly people who want to take calls from their relatives and click simple beautiful pictures of their grandchildren. I hope they don’t watch Netflix on their phones. This phone is good for 5 years till 2027.
