5/6 years of software updates, A15, 5g, Really good camera. If you don’t care about design and screen this is an exceptional deal. Clearly the cheap is expensive so they have to cut on other things, plus this is apple style: 1 new design only for premium phones. Probably they will take the XR/11 design next years or 2.

it would have made more sense if apple had made this year iPhone S.E in the iPhone 8 Plus body. This would add a visual change while keeping up with the value of the other budget phone (2 camera, bigger battery, ect….) all while keeping a body frame they have already mass produce with little to no expense.

I could see myself loving this phone it’s fast, will last long and it can do what I want I never fancied the multi-camera set up I would just like one dictated camera that does everything, and you are right I do love ❤️ my home button

The iPhone X came out the same time as the iPhone 8, surely they could’ve reused that design? Maybe they don’t because it looks so similar to their current phones.

the iphone 8s price on release was $699 in 2017. im pretty sure they could have done cheaper than the $400 asking price for this se. a new chip doesn’t always justify the phone. apple have some of the best chips, but it’s no use having the best chip if you lock some of its features and capabilities.

Idk im getting sick of these ugly SE why are we getting some design from like 4-5 years ago just with a new chip. Idk not much I guess they can do to make it too different. I love apple products but as Marques said this is simple and not special at all. It’s a pretty ugly design to look at in 2022. Especially with these huge bezel.
