I tried the last SE and quickly upgraded to the 12 because going from a Note 9, it just wasn’t working with those huge bezels.

having the a15 and 4gb ram on a tiny 4.7inch screen with 720p res is kinda insanity, its literally too much juice, honestly amazed me that they sticked to this housing.

Apple could have made a plastic iPhone 12 mini with A14 chip & 1 camera and called it the SE3 sold it for $450 and made a big profit loads of people would buy it.

They don’t need new R&D. They can easily recycle the iPhone X by now. They’re just trying to milk the old design as much as they can before they finally dump it.

I’m still rocking my 2020 SE. And I absolutely love it. I see no need to compare it to the bigger budget phones out there. It does everything so perfectly for me. And also, it isn’t difficult to find charging solutions in 2022 anymore. So, I’ve never found the battery to be “insufficient” as such. And having used it for so long already, I don’t miss an ultra-wide camera or anything. I just love this phone. And the product Red is just the cherry on top. Perfect.
{also, in India It was $550. not $399}

That is the key point. You purchase this phone… you DO NOT care about the camera, screen or body. You care about it lasting a very long time. This phone can easily get 4/5 years of use for just $400+ dollars. That is an insane value to people that DO NOT care about all the bells and whistles.
