I basically have the cheapest apple products. I got the 9th gen iPad 64 gb ssd 3 months ago, Pre-ordered the new iPhone SE and the 3rd gen air pods. I’m using a 13 inch M1 mac book air with 256gb ssd. If this year, a new mac book pro comes out, i might switch to that or i might switch to a M1 pro 14″ Mac book.

If u are not on a budget, but don’t have disposable income and can’t afford a new “phone” every year, Choose apple but it will hurt ur pockets and will feel old , or u can choose Android ,which will get the job done and won’t hurt ur pockets, but u will have to upgrade every two years to experience similar or better for same price and u will get the latest teck . It’s like tools , u pay more for better quality but old technology , or pay less for something inexpensive tools which will get the job done for less cost .

Apple is still missing a phone in the $500-$650 price range. The SE could’ve stayed the same with software and hardware and kept its price at $399. IMO the SE22 hardware could have gone into a different body (XR or iphone 11) and fit perfectly into the $500-$650 price range.

if they made the SE look like an iphone 13, it would be the best selling iphone. they want to compete in the 400$ price range but they dont want to undercut their flagship lineup, so this is how they do it.

once the general public isn’t cool with using a device with this outdated of a form factor, they’ll probably make a mini with a single camera and make that the new “standard edition” design.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Apple discontinues the iPhone SE as well as the iPod Touch simply because they don’t want to redesign them. I also wondered why Apple even bothered with this refresh in the first place. Anybody who hasn’t been tempted with a new iPhone since the 2020 SE certainly won’t care about the A15 or 5G.
