I was never an apple person and this review just reinforces why i was never an apple person. Its almost criminal how incremental they are. Its also bullshit that they can release a phone with the exact or nearly exact design and not be scolded for it but praised. Especially so if an android manufacturer does so themselves. Like the s8 and s9. These two phones are nearly identical. major differences are the finger print scanner is in a different spot and the bezel on the s9 are ever so slightly smaller. And yet it got hammered as boring even though it was one of the best looking smart phones ever made and frankly only beaten by the s21 line. So it bothers me that apple can pull of the same look for what 3 generations of it? This is bullshit and we all know it. Shit they even bought back the iphone 4 and 5 sides. They have no way to innovate its looks at all and its painfully apparent yet they get a free pass.

Then you have the supposed power of the chipset. Which never shows any actual significant lead above android despite what all the synthetic benchmarks shows. The open and close apps on par. Games run on par. I honestly think they are doing the whole bullshit they called some android manufacturers out for. And honestly with it being closed source its nigh impossible to fine out if it is or isn’t.

And honestly the cameras is a tug of war. For apples to be better (with the 13 pro max) in low light you need to hold the phone for an abnormally long time to get the better shot. Where as you use it like any other its on par or beaten by others. Day light shots and its your preference. Personally i can’t fucking tell. I choose s21 ultra at times and others iphone. And when it comes to video for the most part i find myself preferring s21 ultra more than half of the blind comparison shots. Hell the only thing apple really did improve was their mic for audio capture cause the 12s were horrendously bad. Here its much better but s21 ultra is still better. And since i don’t ever carry nor will ever plan to carry a dedicated mic yeah the built in sound recording needs to be better on apple.

Then there is iOS, i just fucking hate this OS. I hate gestures in general, i hate the boring samey look that all iphones have. There is no personality.

And the biggest fuck up of apple the need to use other apple products. Sorry this is just fucking stupid. The amount of bullshit you need to go through to just use apple and pc together is a fucking annoyance that should not be allowed. I get it its to push people to buy more of their shit but when people realize that most if not all of the actual important features of that ecosystem is easily replicated with android and pc and not to mention just how easy android and pc works with each other and are continuing to make it more seamless with win11 just shows the whole problem with them.

I am not an apple guy. Using their products is the biggest pain in the ass i have ever experienced. And the need to drown yourself in more of their bullshit cause they refuse to make it work as well with non-apple products is criminal.

They don’t innovate, they don’t push boundaries. They just do shitty incremental updates that android had years ago. And no they don’t always do it better.
