I’m switching back and forth between my old 60Hz RedmiNote 3 pro and 120Hz Poco F3 (it’s also have adaptive refresh afaik btw) and didn’t care much about that difference. Probably just not that sensitive towards something like that.

My mother could not differentiate between movie (24 fps) and tv serials (60 fps).

So, it’s understandable that for many people it’s difficult to differentiate between 60 fps and 120 fps mobile screen

what happened to comparing to an older phone? mentioned it once in the iphone 13 review then never actually did it.

Anyway I’ll do it for you. If you’re upgrading from an iPhone X don’t do it. Literally returning my iPhone 13 Pro today after having it for a week. It feels about 50% heavier than my iPhone X, it’s bulkier, more difficult to hold (I have large hands) it’s design is basically a step backwards. Apple went from iPhone 4 and 5 design to iPhone 6 as it is smoother, more comfortable in your hand and smaller in your pocket. So why do we then go backwards from the design of iPhone X to iPhone 12 and 13? Oh that’s right people like Marques think the square design looks cool!! but usability wise and portability it is a massive step backwards.

It is insane that after 4 years my ‘upgrade’ to an iPhone 13 Pro was to a heavier, bulkier phone. If each year this iPhone is the best iPhone why are we going backwards in terms of size and weight? It’s crazy.
