Actual iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max sensors:
Main sensor is 1/1.7″ (Sony IMX703)
Ultra-Wide is 1/3.4″ (Sony IMX772)
Telephoto is also 1/3.4″ (Sony IMX713)

when speaking of 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max sensor sizes did not change for the most part, expect for aperture and huge camera rings/housing to make cameras look bigger, fantastic marketing by Apple as ever.

Have been following MKBHD for years now. And noticing the change in the review of apple products. Every limitation (if any) of iphone or any apple product is justified and portrayed as there wass some hidden reason for that “bad feature”. Hats off. Good job bro. Dpkt support Apple because of their anti right to repair policy. They made it almost impossible to repair for third parties.

I’ll be honest with you, from the past year or so, I was very excited about getting a high refresh rate screen. Today I bought a S20 FE(old phone unexpectedly died). It is the first ever device that I’ve ever laid my hands on which has high refresh rate. It’s been some 6 hours since I’m using it, but I don’t see any notable difference. I can definitely tell some minor difference, like text being readable even when I’m scrolling. But to me, that is not really relevant enough that I would be willing to take a battery hit. But I am curious about a point you made in the vid. Once you get used to it, you will notice a bigger difference if you go back.
I’m not sure how long I’ve got to use this 120hz screen to say that I’ve gotten used to it, but I’ll probably try it out for a week. Then try switching back to 60hz to see if it makes any difference to me as per my use case or not.

Just discovered you today – am I 10,000 people too late for the trial SkillShare?
Questions about the camera:
I don’t see toggles for Ultra Wide or Macro? How/where do they come in to play?
When I do telephoto, the viewfinder shows quite a shaky photo. Isn’t LIDAR supposed to fix that – my recent iPhone 6 never had wiggly pix.
Noted that this model has not added the ability in Video to toggle between selfie and front-facing camera during recording. I had hoped to be able to do live “reporter” shots where I describe the event and switch to footage. Is there a trick I can’t figure out or does this have to be edited or perhaps filmed in another program like Snapchat or something else?
What is a good starter (free) program for video editing that might have online tutorials?
