mkbhd is a fake reviewer he only uses iphone and pretends to know a lot about other phones without using it
you forgot type c, foldable phones , fingerprint sensor
ngl I wish my s21 would take better pictures in other apps
I would just like to ask why this debate is still ongoing, if you compare the best iPhone to the best android then the performance and quality will be on-par.
it comes down to preference, not which one is “better”.
Andoid and iphone
MKBHD iPhone simp
Great video and so fun to watch. However I felt like this could have been a direct comparison of iPhone flagships vs Samsung/Pixel/Huawei flagships or iOS vs Android, as opposed to iPhone vs Android. Although it doesn’t seem like there’s any difference (because iPhones are the only phones that run iOS), notice how they kinda had to compare the best features from multiple phones to the only (premium) offerings of iPhones available. Of course, its not their fault that they had to do it this way, but it would be fairer to people trying to make practical choices if the overall software performances of the two OSs were highlighted over the hardware components since each Android phone handles the OS differently and most users are really only going to be able to afford one flagship. That way, the comparison would be a lot less assymetrical and could also help us in the audience who really want to see a direct comparison. To be fair still, most people already know what they like and are just here for the entertainment so this is just a rambling suggestion I guess 😂.
fun fact, it’s iPhone vs. every phone.
Some have their own opinions & reasons why they chose iphone over the sandroid or vice versa.. But for me I chose s22 ultra because of it can do much more, camera is the best, endless customization not boring & most of all typing from keyboard is the best.. I stopped using iphone & use it only as my back up for my apple account & apple tv account because of how bad the keyboard is.. Editing mistyped words on the iphone is sooo frustrating.. You have to tap & hold it & drag it to where you want cusor to be & it mostly not going to where my finger is pointing.. It keeps on going to the upper part & I end up erasing all the words I typed before I can get to the one word I am going to edit.. I use the old touchpal keyboard on my s22 ultra & it is sooo much easier & faster.. I do not have to tap a key to get to symbols, numbers & capital letters in touchpal keyboard I just swipe up to make it capital letter & swipe down for symbols & the numbers is just on top row.. It will automatically save the words I typed so that I can just tap it to complete when it detects my first few leeter of a word.. I don’t use swipe gestures because I am filipino & no tagalog words for gestures..
You really shouldn’t go average Android vs iPhone. Androids can cost as low as around 50 dollars.
Display- android easily
Performance- tie
Battery- iphone easily
Features- android easily
Photos- android easily
Video- iphone easily
Software support- iphone
Pricing- android
Reliability- tie
Categories that should be here.
Customization- android
Freedom- android
Fast charging- android
Eco-friendly- idk but honestly people generally don’t buy phones with this in mind, why is this a category but customization isn’t.
In a lot of categories, I do think Android does it much better. Its use of usb-c and being easy to repair, is really what helps it to make it sustainable. Not having to be locked in a family of products is incredibly helpful as well. Another thing that I could not fathom is how you’re limited in what you can and cannot download, which makes transferring files, a guessing game. Since I’ve switched to Android, I cannot see myself switching back to iPhones.
When your mind is set on one product you won’t see the good things of other
Andriod is far better than the iPhone…
I have both Android and iPhone, but I prefere my Linux BASH terminal 🤣.
But seriously even if iPhone is (somewhat) better I still prefer Android because who on earth needs a flagship phone?.
Android provides a good price range and a lower mid spec to mid spec phone is ideal for me, besides for the price of a flagship I can buy a pretty decent gaming laptop with better specs than any flagship except for the camera or I can go ahead and buy a MacBook Air because of it’s light weight and passive cooling system which makes it more suitable when laying in bed or on my lap which doesn’t burn your legs 🤣 especially in the summer or when running some heavy tasks.
Posting something controversial on a tech channel and instantly getting essays from fellow tech “experts” on why you were wrong 😂
Huawei have the same seamless connection between their devices like of apple,I fell into the huawei ecosystem accidently with mate 40 pro ,mate book ,watch gt2 pro ,and band 6 ,they are interconnected so beautifully and every aspect of the phone is incredible ,kirin never loose their performance with time ,of the ban hadn’t occured it would have been a mate in Arun’s hand in place of Samsung
After using Android all my life until about a month ago, I prefer IOS. Much more refined, their battery life claims are actually true. And everything is significantly smoother and more luxurious.
Moral of the story if you care about price and value get Android. If you don’t care than get the iPhone.
I think both iOS and Android do things different. That may not necessarily translates over to better or worse although USB C on Android phones is great. But if you’re just looking at Android versus iOS, and You lump in iPad OS since android doesn’t make a tablet distinction, then they’re pretty even I think. Because at this point it’s just about which system people prefer
