I can get myself to agree with everything else MKBHD said but I cannot seem to agree with Display.. iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate … Yes I agree that the iPhone might have a better fluid and smoother software and all that.. but we are not comparing it just with Samsung’s flagships.. some Android phones have 144 Hz refresh rate and 576 Hz touch sampling rate… And pair that with good stock or near stock Android os and it is not even close….. No hate to Apple though.

Mkbhd was not a truly fan of Android so this isn’t a fair for Android user there’s many points that a Android can do better than ios but in this video its not even try to show that Android is better

I use split screen feature a lot as well on my S21 Ultra.

And I found out that I actually really enjoy using the pen from my Remarkable tablet (which turns out to work just like an S-pen).

It’s really useful for drawing instructions on screenshots and for fine-tuning video editing on the phone.

And the USB-C is what I feel all phones should switch to.

But most of all I’m used to my Android phone – I loved LG while they existed and bought only their phones before. Switched to Samsung now and I’m also very happy.

No reason for me to go over to iOS for the time being.

And I grew up and don’t care if the other person is an iOS user. We can transfer files now between phones, after all :))

Man, i respect MKBHD a lot, but his views in this video are pretty absurd. Like the split-screen in Samsung man that feature is pretty awesome, when it comes to the camera yeah it might take slightly longer to get a shot on the odd occasion, but rarely am I in a rush to take a photo…so for me I’ll go with android all day long because I’ll often get the better result, more flexibility of lenses, etc and way more fun to shoot with. For me, the better result far outweighs the small things MKBHD mentioned as drawbacks with the s22U. and the thing about iPhones being not too buggy, omg I have dozens of family and friends who have phones and to 12s and 13s, and they are buggy af, but what’s even funny is none of them own an android flagship. everyone that has an android phone is mostly budget or mid-range. everyone has this thing where they assume phones are just way way better and it sucks man.
id take an s22U any time of the day.
Watching this video I saw another side of MKBHD that we’d have never known if he hadn’t done this video. Because watching him alone we won’t catch this stuff. So, yes he is very good with tech, but seeing this video I felt like he cares more about being more privileged, those small things, and being pretentious in some sense. like when he talked about the vibration motor in Samsung, personally I own a budget Samsung phone and I haven’t missed any calls on it other than if I have it on dnd or I don’t have my phone with me. And saying the lock screen customization in iPhone is better, damn man!!!
but yeah it’s his personal choice and it’s my personal view about him, so yk that’s what she said.

The conclusion is the important part of this video, the iphone is a great device but the worst for your wallet, apple’s focus is still take as much of your money as they can, that’s why most of iOS 16 focus was to improve the ecosystem features, to lock you in even more… My take is that for everyone outside the US the iPhone is bad value, half of the benefits depend on having apple devices around you and that’s not common in many parts of the world.
