The only issue with android I have not mentioned: even the s22 ultra has more shutter lag than my iPhone XS Max from 2018, so much lag that it’s borderline impossible to photograph my dogs, so I pick iPhone.
Yes I’m a photographer, yes I have a dslr but I don’t always want to use it

I don’t really agree on the eco point, apple is infamous for it’s making it as difficult as possible for the user to repair their phone. With that, the costs of a repair go up so high, that people just decide to buy a new one, which is awful for the environment.

For me IOS is good but Android is just more better cz you can do anything you want like gpu over clocking, change fonts, emojis, change the looks of your phone (themes i mean), change rom like if your phone was china rom you can just change it to global rom if you want, etc…. That IOS can’t

Software update support can also have an impact when considering which is more environmentally friendly. People will be more likely to keep their current phone for longer if it has longer software support. It will also make them a more compelling purchase option in the used market if they’re able to run the latest OS version for still a few years to come.

Tbh a limited amount of people use android in the US. I speak to hundreds (700-800) of different people yearly. 95+% of people that I talk to use an iPhone – iMessage, FaceTime, airdrop etc are things used and it’s very convenient. For the masses the features android has to offer is irrelevant – not what a majority of people look for in the US market at least.

Few millions nerds are so active online, and they always said android is better forever, while billions else just prefer the consistency from Apple, if their time is money so why spend times on modding their devices if their time that will be spending for that is ways more expensive than just getting an iPhone that they can trust that it’s one of the best and will always be one of the best and will be working very well for every long time might be longer than the time that they’re gonna buy another one, very very consistent every time,

anyway there are 2 reasons that will buy an Android if :
1- i couldn’t afford an iPhone,
2- i have so much money to buy whatever phone whenever wherever

Lol in my country iphone is a symbol of status.. people in my country mostly buy iphones because it makes you look rich and cool..
