I think we are going to see a lot of android supporters in the comment section on this one, simply because there are just flat out more android users.

Personally, however, I recently switched from a Samsung s21 Ultra to an Iphone 13 Pro Max.

Battery life is by far one of the most underrated things about iphones. On top of that, even though the ecosystem “locks you in”, the ecosystem itself is so well thought out and integrated that it makes my life genuinely easier, and I can do the things I want to do more efficiently.

Sure, Android can be customized more, and you have more value options, but with Apple I truly feel like im a part of a community supported by a very thoughtful company, rather than a company that might be more focused on having the most megapixels or the closest zoom.

Regarding sustainability, the iPhone scores even better because they receive significantly longer software updates. However, the easiest way to become more eco-friendly would be to increase repairability.

I’ve been with Android since 2011, but I slowly started to get into the Apple ecosystem, I had my IPad snice 2018 and it’s still going strong, I’ve used the iPhone 12 for two months is the best software experience I’ve ever had
