I’m actually disappointed that this song was ruined by memes. Over half these people haven’t watched hunter x hunter. The few people who did watch it probably only watched the bit on Netflix. Real legends would’ve actually knew this was from Chimera Ant arc

0:00 through 0:39 A hero, a young boy,and their rival, a mysterious person with a deep tone, are fighting climactically. They both have masks on to conceal their identities.

0:40 through 1:01 The hero starts to realize that they cannot win and starts to retreat. The rival sneakily follows them.

1:02 through 1:24 The hero goes to their home and lies down after using all their energy. The rival is seen outside the house. The hero’s dad walks in and questions where the hero was at. The hero lies to conceal themself. The father shrugs, and hugs his son goodnight. The father closes the door and walks down a hallway and looks down, knowing that his son lies.

1:25 through 1:45 The dad is holding the rival’s mask. He puts it on and heads to his room with his wife inside.

1:46 through 2:06 The father slits his wife’s throat. He whispers to her, ”This will make our son stronger.” He snickers and throws her body into the lake near the house at midnight for the police to find to make him look safe.

2:07 through 2:32 The hero wakes up shortly after she dies to hear his mother speaking to him. She tells him everything. Including where he was at. She reveals that she knew what the son was doing the entire time. She says she loves him and will miss him as she fades away. The hero is angry.

2:33 through 3:00 The hero gets up and walks to the lake, charging his power the entire time. It cuts to the father throwing her corpse into the lake. He then notices his son, walking towards him with full power. The 2 then jump at each other, and it fades to black.
