Story time: 31:46

Another mundane work day greets me.. I awake. Still in bed..I begin my journey, by checking my phone. I scroll through Tiktok. I see a funny video several videos … I come across a video that says “if one woman makes you happy. Imagine what 10 women can do” the audio used in the video was only 7 seconds long. But it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. I left the video on loop to soak it all in. It spoke to my spirit. How did a simple 7 second tune without any context tug at my heart like that?

I quickly scrolled the comment section hoping someone knew what it was. All the roads led to the discovery of this anime: Hunter x Hunter.

I purchase season 1… FIRST episode i think “ok this is pretty cool. its like a kid like adventure anime” halfway through the hunter exam I wasn’t fully interested, but the song drove me to play the next episode.

By the middle of Season Two, I am hooked. I no longer care to hear the song. I am along for the ride. I wanted to see Hisoka and Netero fight,, in hindsight, Netero woulda wiped the floor with him. I like Gon, Killua, and Zushi. I got so excited when Gon punched Hisoka !!!!!.

Fast forward… season 5 is here and the moment that drove me here. Kingdom of predators came on. And that music i heard months ago finally appeared. I was captivated. Never had I heard a piece of music so beautiful.
Its loving, determined, a sign of strength, graceful, and jarring at the same time. I am thankful this song exist. I am thankful to be alive to experience this. I am now going to do 10,000 song plays of Gratitude. This moment. Love you all. Peace
