This headset is super cool and I understand the reason for the price point but I kinda miss the days of sub-$1000 pcvr headsets. I still use my original vive that I bought in 2018 and that was $500 for one of the best vr experiences available at the time (but I suppose at that point there wasn’t much on the market other than the rift s)

This is super exciting. I have a pretty feature rich headset with the Vive Pro Eye complete with face tracking and wireless, so I don’t really want to loose those features, but the idea of custom face interface and better optics is amazing. Mostly I’m just happy to see a new player enter the VR hardware space, and with such a well thought out product to. Fingers crossed it goes really well, and we see future products from them that add more of those missing features.

I have two questions.
1. How’s the maintenance with it? I find keeping the Index clean quite hard after almost 3 years with it.
2. How hot does it get? Will I get all sweaty wearing it? I know it kind of doesn’t need it, but how is the airflow with it?

I have been waiting for something to draw me back in.. I think I may have found it.
I am beyond curious what it feels like to play cockpit games (flight and racing) to see if instrument panels can be easily read.

I’m intrigued. I personally am the only one to use my index and if I do share my VR it’s by using my quest 2. as someone who where’s glasses having this custom made for my eyes from the start and not having to purchase separate lenses is perfect. I’ve been waiting for a good solid pcvr system. I hope this can fill that spot

This is exciting! Finally a compelling VR headset designed to be actually used for more than 30 mins! Makes sense it needs to be personal, I don’t wear other people’s shoes!
