“only choice is MacBook air” I have used so many different types of laptops and apple sucks. Go for Samsung or HP. Their small, compact and do a much better job

I’ve been a software/firmware* engineer for 15 years and I have NO IDEA how you can be productive on a laptop, even with the extra screen. The keyboard always SUCKS, there’s no mouse, and you still have like 1/4th of the screen real estate that I’m used to. It’s just painful when I have to do it.

*I do everything from hard-real-time custom operating systems on custom HW platforms to Android/Windows/iOS companion software. I’m just as much as software engineer as a firmware engineer.
