Some 25+ years ago, I went through TSA with a Spyderco ladybug. Not only did the agent not know that it was a legal size (now banned), but they didn’t know how to close a lock back blade. All pokies have to be in a checked bag now.

i do find it comical though that the edc community essentially caused everyone to carry more ending up in usage of a pouch or some sort of small bag, purse. tactical purse! lol

The cross body bag thing is funny. It has a bad rep here in the UK as it’s a favourite of what we call chavs or roadmen.

However I find it super practical and more comfortable than a bumbag. I recently got a Maxpedition Janus Pouch and put a strap on it.

Awesome video man. Would be interesting if you did an EDC carry of your credit cards. I know that’s a little off brand but as someone else who is self-employed and into the credit card game, it looks like you had a good set up in that tiny wallet.

What’s wrong with phanny packs? Any kind of pouch or small bag is practical for travel or EDC… my EDC bag is the 5.11 Rush MOAB 10. I have a powerbank and a usb fan, which has saved me so many times when I’ve had to stand in line, and it’s hot and stuffy. I also have a Sea to Summut seat cushion, they’re waterproof and they deflate to the size of a piece of cardboard. My grandma visited us for christmas, and every restaurant we went to had old wooden chairs, I literally saved her ass!
