Long time subscribed. Thanks first
Great choices Kenny …. I definitely agree with your #1 choice! One of the most used tools in my shop 👍🤠
I hope you get some sponsor kickback from Lee Valley. Quality tools but expensive
I have the #1 ruler. I got it for Christmas. It’s so easy to use.
Great lineup Kenny. Thanks.
I have two sub millimetre marking T rules. Super accurate and designed to work with a 0 5mm lead. Not Incra . I also have a Screwfix analogue vernier gauge in my toolbag and one in my toolbox. That covers internal & external measurement as well as depth up to 150mm. So with you 100% on your No1 and No11 nominations.
I’m going to make a # 10 gadget and a #6. That ruler stop is cool, I have a pair of stair gages that clamp the same way on a framing square. It is for rise and run. Also you can use it to draw a line on a piece of scrap and then set your bevel square to the line drawn on the scrap. At the ironworks we took the out-of-square framing squares. Cut the tonge off, drilled a hole in each piece, ran a bolt though the 2 pieces. Then we secured it with a lock washer and a wingnut. Now we had a larger bevel square. I got one at home for matching an angle I might need to cut. I could use the #4. The setup square would have helped me with one of the whirligigs I was making. Who sells them? #2 would help with scroll saw angles. #1 is cool! Another great show.
I like your choices and I have that exact T-rule…
Hi Kenny, I like your number 8 for holding your glasses, the problem I have is I have spent ages looking for my glasses only to find them 15 minutes later on the top of my head so I wonder if I would remember them on my apron
Great choices Kenny – the first time I saw you using the Incra T-rule I ordered one. Hopefully coming back into stock this month. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the gadget review…I always say it is best to use the proper gadget/tool for safety/accuracy in building wood projects! Excellent!
Thank you Kenny. Every time I watch your show (and I never miss any of them) I look with envy at the ReaderRest clips on your apron. I have tried all over the UK in order to purchase a pair. No luck. Now, thanks to you, I have placed an order for a pair. Once again my thanks, keep on making the show. Piet.
I’ve had number 6 for years and use it daily. It’s great. I don’t have your number 1 yet but every time I see you use it…which is to say every show…I think about pulling the trigger and getting one. Thanks for a fun show Kenny.
Even for quality Lee Valley’s pricing is ridiculous!
HATE the Incra T-rule. Bought it after seeing it here. Can’t find a pencil that fits it. Useless.
The Incra trule takes a fine pencil lead. Do you have a suggestions ?
I’ve always been intrigued with the Incra rules, but have wondered how much of an issue the tiny slots are. Is there a specific pencil, mechanical or otherwise, that’s a must have to get total satisfaction? Throw some hints my way to sway me into ordering one! Thanks KW!
What a great episode! The main problem is that every time I watch your videos it costs me money. It’s a good thing I already have half of these “gadgets” already. My favourite, bar none, is the setup blocks. I would be totally lost without them. Now how about getting that Wixey Digital Fende Readout going on the Sawstop? Thanks for all the great videos, Kenny. Keep ‘em coming. Cheers from Victoria, BC.
Kenny, I totally agree with your number 1 choice. I would be lost without my Incra T-Rule. I think I use it on almost every project. Probably the only thing I use more is the pencil. Nice reviews.
You left out that VERITAS vise thing on the work bench. Something interesting is WHAT IS THAT CITIZEN SIGN on the wall behind you. It’s got my eye every time you talk at the end. Can you show it??
