This makes no sense. Did you even read/watch the series because Anya called them that because they aren’t her real family but she want them to but she knows that if Loyd mission fails she’ll highly end up back at the orphanage or worst.

When you commented about omae being rude toward strangers, i immediately thought back years ago to watching the Dragonball Z movie where they fight the androids (13, 14, and 15 i think? movie 7 iirc), and when Goku speaks to the androids he says “dare ga omaetachi wa?” (Idk why i remember that so clearly after all these years lol.) But was that a case of the impoliteness you’re referring to, and used as a way to indicate aggression?

The problem is these anime characters not even Japanese, remember that their surname is Forger not Fuji, so it’s better to use Mama & Papa as it known internationally.
