I saw in others animes the child saying chichiue to talk directly to the father or hahaue to talk to the mother. I new that was a more formal way to speak, but didn’t know that haha and chichi was to talk about your parents to others because this others animes. Or if you put ue after is kinda the same as okasama and otosama?
But you are correcting a japanese author….he may just did this for cuteness or something. Besides, she is a kid.
Kyuubei is starting into my soul. I don’t want to be a magical girl leave me alone 😢
He’s really calling out Anya for being an orphan 💀💀 (not meant to be rude)
you forgot that anya is a child
She is a kid, wtf ?
Is it possible that Anya uses the wrong addresses for father and mother because as an orphan she’s only ever seen other people formally refer to their own parents with the same terms? so she doesn’t know better?
Ehhhh I knew “chichi” and “haha” are used when talking about your own parents but I didn’t know you can’t call them that when talking to them. I remember watching an episode of Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) live action very long ago, where towards the end of the episode (I think it was the 1st ep) the girl calls her mom on the street as “haha”. I remember it as I found it very funny because it was the first time I heard someone calling their mom “haha” in Japanese xD Now I know why I never heard it being used that way often ^^
You have a point at this video, but also keep in mind that Anya is still a kid
I also noticed it while watching spy family
I think they made it that way cause it’s a bit cuter specially for her look and attitude
“Why Anya Incorrectly Says Chichi/Haha (Updated, Spy x Family)”
Why This 5-year-old Incorrectly Speaks (Updated, Spy x Family)
lmao
I mean we are strangers, the eyes of the viewers.
When we watch anime, the subtitle sentences are wrong because it’s hard to translate the Japanese to English.
Cheers to u for having the same clothes as anya
haha very funny.
sry had to
I assumed it was because she was 4/5 💀
she must get “omae” from the cartoons she watches 😅
Yuuta I have a question, I noticed that Yor refers to Anya as “Anya-san”. I dont know much about japanese honorifics but does that come off as to formal when talking about one’s own daughter? Or could it be appropriate as she’s not her own biological daughter? I noticed this even when she was talking with family (her brother). Thank you!
This could also bring light about her upbringing and the people who experimented on her. After all, kids learn by imitation 🤔🤔🤔
