the thing is, this is the cycle of anime character popularity, a character from a new anime will get really popular, many memes and edits will be created, people get pissed off at the character due to the oversaturation of the character and the cycle starts anew when a new anime comes out. twitter will always be this hellscape

I really like Anya as a character, and the anime itself is also quite wholesome and interesting. However sometimes I find these edits kind of annoying since it’s so frequent and I want to see some new original content. Some of the edits are also(no offense) pretty bad. But even then, it’s find it’s a bit too much to send hate to the character as a whole just because of these frequent edits. Even if people don’t like it sometimes(like me) they should really keep their opinions to themselves

Tbh I can sort of understand people being fed up with it. The Anime is very wholesome chungus le funny reddit loli and all. For it the anime&manga was kinda mid. So long as people like it, all power to them I guess.

Funny thing I noticed over time is that anime fans tend to be hypocrites.
1:”That character looks like a child bro, why do you get a stiffy over it?”
2:”She’s just a fictional character and doesn’t have an age!!”

1: “I made an edit of Anya getting brutally murdered cause I’m fed up with her.”
2: “Bro why would you wish death on a fictional child?”
