What I really love about Anya as a charecter is that she feels and behave authenticly like a child. Childs in anime most of the time are done… badly, I’ll be honest. While there are many child charecter that I really liked and enjoyed, they always feels like they are more childish then a child. They are cute, they are inocent, but they don’t behave like a true child, but as a chidlish adults. Anya on the other hand will seek atention, will admire her parents and try to act like them, will get afraid in social situations she is not used to, will abuse technicalities or how cute she is to get what she want…. all things that real children do. And I love it.
