Aside from Anya’s mind-reading abilities and Yor’s unbelievable strength(And that big kid, not to mention), this show still shows realism for a kid like Anya to not be successful at physical abilities mainly sports. Some of us expected that she will make that last throw like how Yor did but that’s where the reality kicks in. Anya is still a child (The animation gives us so much expectation though)

That is acttually the best representation I ever saw of the dodgeball I grew up playing with all the jokes we use to make as kids and stuff that always happened. I always tought it was weird that dodgeball was different in american television, I’m beggining to think you guys are the only ones that play the game differently 🤔 I had a nostalgic felling watching this episode, It was like seeing caricatures of my childhood 🥰

And for context bazzoka Bill is not that ridicolous 😂😅, at least in Brazil there was always that one kid in class that looked older and taller than everyone. Right now I have a 6 year old cousin who looks 8 or 10, this happens rather often 🤔

No joke, my dad was a “Bazooka Bill” in middle school. They had to let the gym teacher be on the opposite team as him to make things even slightly fair. Even broke another kid’s nose once. Pretty sure he wasn’t allowed to play after that

I love the kids imagining themselves in their favorite shounen manga scenarios while training. Not gonna lie, I remember playing Power Rangers and Sailor Moon and Pokémon as a kid at school.

I love the dramatizations the anime adds to the existing story XDD. The training montage with the boys is hilarious because we all totally imagine all those dramatic stuff while we’re playing at that age XDD. I also love how Yor doesn’t force Anya to “take things more seriously” when she messes up some of the excercises. She knows that Anya /is/ doing her best even though she can’t execute it perfectly. I also love how Loid doesn’t interrupt them even when he questions pretty much everything they’re doing XD. They’re so wholesome, I love them XD.
(recommending the bros to watch Link Click, Magi, and Hyouka)

It suddenly occurred to me that considering Damien’s inferiority complex about his older brother, Anya constant referring to him as “Second-son” must be painful. I wonder if a moment is gonna come in the future where he calls her out on that. “My name is Damien, not Second-son!”
