Can totally relate, my first crush that I truly fell hard was my best friend. Back in highschool, we werent close until senior year. Thats where I found out we had so many things in common. He was the pinnacle of a kind soul. But that year he was in a love triangle with two girls who were his other friends. One who was a year below us, was very toxic and possesive over him. Another, a gorgeous girl who he was super infactuaated with which deeply made me insecure. I bottled up my feelings because I knew it wasnt my place. It took many years to get over him mostly because there was never truly closure for me. Nightfall liked Twilight, not Loid. In ep 24, Loid comments on how he seemed to be more lax or not exactly himself when he is with Yor so he is always faced with her unpredictability. (Like not being prepared when she suddenly kicked him)
