Didn’t expect this show. I think the show you would most enjoy is Chihayafuru, it’s sort of like a sports show but not, very character and plot driven like run with the wind but imo even better

Sarah Would you be interested to do darker anime with more complex storylines in the future?
I usually like your opinions on people and situations, so it would be fun if you watched a show like attack on titan😈

Ooooooooooh new anime!! And a non-sports one at that! Loved watching this with you and yeah Anya’s so cute 😭🤘

Also, just in case you’re looking into future anime:
1. Yowamushi Pedal is a sports anime for cyclists and bears similar genes to Run With The Wind, otherwise,
2. Demon Slayer is another non-sports anime that you could break into, the story and lore aren’t too intimidating for those new to anime, and there are fun moments littered in between cinematic action scenes
3. Dr. Stone is a light comedy science anime that’s also friendly for anime beginners, the science is explained in a fun way and it’s just a wholesome anime

Out of the 100 animes I’ve seen lol, I think the vibes of these three are closest to the animes you’ve reacted to so far! Happy watching!

I think you will like Bakuman (another anime). Its a great show set in real world – so right up your alley. Happy to see you branch out to new genres of anime though😄 .

I loved watching and reading Spy x Family a lot. Plus Anya is such a cutie. You won’t believe but her voice actor is actually a 32 year old woman and she’s done so well. I have her voice set up as my notification tone lol. Every time a notif comes my phone goes “Anya !!” or “chi-chi” or “ui” or “bakudan-bakudan”. Also, I truly love that she isn’t the definition of “book-nerd” smart. She is just smart as a kid. And she has her own strengths which do not include the bookish intelligence. She is very curious, very lively and all of these things just make her a really good kid. She has her childish innocence which is one of the best things you’ll see in this show as compared to many other animes where the kids are just born “wise” and “un-childish” or just mature too fast in their head. I love seeing this dynamic of this family, it is very fictious but at the same time everything is so close to reality.
