I am struggling to find a brand that will fit me…117kg at 6ft tall and longish body with 105cm waist…Any suggestions?
I resisted the call, but I finally got a pair and they are Joyus!. Riding is much more comfortable and feels faster without my MTB shorts flapping around.
Who in Hades wears underwear under cycling shorts?! I’m chaffing just thinking about it.
Having worn regular cycling shorts for decades, I recently sipped the Kool-aid and bought some bib shorts. Won’t be doing that again.
For me, there is no difference in comfort between bib shorts and regular cycling shorts. However, bib shorts come with a huge disadvantage: you have to strip down to use the bathroom. At my age, that’s a non-starter. I only wear the bib shorts if everything else is dirty and the ride is less than 50 miles.
If you are new to cycling, don’t run out and buy bib shorts. They are a stupid idea designed for people that have 0 body fat to hold up their shorts. If your regular shorts tend to fall down (which they shouldn’t), get some suspenders with plastic clasps. The only thing worse than having to pull down your shorts for “reasons” in the middle of your ride is having to take off your shirt first in order to pull down your shorts.
❤️❤️❤️
Hank knows all too well about this topic. Sorry James. 😜✌🏼Hope the knee is already healing. Manon is killing Dan 🤣✌🏼
Can she demonstrate that “hot pants” problem?
I hate that switch bike ad SO MUCH
I’ve cut the grippers off of several pairs of shorts, they don’t ride up. Had a nice pair of Nalini shorts which came without grippers, no problem. Please stop making assertions.
Getting beat up, muddy, and bloody is the best part of mtb.. Why would I want to change that?
For road biking? I actually get some pleasure passing overweight weekend warriors with their $10k bikes and Lycra racing gear. I might have on occasion said “nice tights Lance” 🤣
I cycle for recreation and to burn calories, so padded shorts are perfectly fine and do the job. They do not cut into the waist area at all, nothing rolls up or down. Can’t be bothered faffing around with the straps on bib shorts – they are more expensive and add -unnecessary- complexity when it comes to toilet breaks and overall fit.
Hi like to watch your review.female review bike is cool😊. And you have a unique voice .
Took awhile until investing in a pair of bibs. Then a bit longer to spend money on good ones. Regret not doing it long ago. Huge difference in all rides especially longer rides.
One thing to note about bibs v shorts for men, besides the comfort of no waistband, is bibs keep things where they need to be, there is much more structure and support. Another plus, no worries about a jersey that might ride up and expose your back side. But investing in good bibs is money well spent.
Come on GCN how about a giveaway of some of your gear ?
Or… Just get a good padded saddle and wear normal underarmour
style lycra under baggies, and save everyone’s eyes.
100% never leave home without them lol…bio racer kit
accused of copying the Triathlon Taren and now copying Trace Velo …😂😂😂

She lost 20 pounds during the video.
