I began riding mtb’s in the early 90’s and I have only seen one of those Slingshots in yellow. I think you should build it out as a gravel bike, drop bars, 1x, and a set of Panaracer Gravel Kings.

Slingshot still makes cable bikes, which I find very interesting. It would be cool to see you compare the new to the old, see if they’ve improved in some 30 years!
