First comment 🤣
Every mountain biker has a story like this
Ah, the old ‘use a big rock as a brake substitute’, works every time…..
エアー噛みですかね?自分ライド前はしっかりと点検してますが、急な故障は、怖いですね。
Still Waiting erik post 😂
At least you know the fork is tuned to perfection.
こわっ🤣
thats why im riding in brown pants, happy that you made it to the bottom in one piece
Close call 😄👍
I just experienced the same thing last month and OTB’ed on one of our trails here. I continued even though my rear brakes are failing.. very similar scenario. Keep shredding Yuka!
Lest us not forget to maintain our bikes.
it is terrifying when you start to loose control like that and a hard choice to hold on or ditch the bike you only have a split second to decide. My standard reaction is to ride it out and it bit me pretty hard on july 1st going down a double black rock shoot i went over the top of a berm and broke my neck on the second berm for the go around line right behind it. looking back i should of ditched the bike and took a slam to my side instead but in the moment i figured i was safe to run into alder bushes (my head caught the second berm in the OTB) mine was not equipiment issue but i did notice the first four runs of the day i was riding poorly and should of not been hitting that feature till i was into the groove. same premise if something is off address it.
I’m her to full support of your CHANEL nice ride ridesafe always godbless
Yowza. Out of curiosity, how often do you two need new pads? It’s so flat where I am that I can a whole season or more on one set. I keep check them with calipers (and have a spare set ready to go), but still plenty on them. Obviously, I need to move.
Sorry to hear! Been rocking some TRP Quadiems now for the past… four years? Never had a single failure or any sort of significant fade whatsoever. Multiple park days at Angel Fire. They’ve been good to me while I’ve had friends with SRAM/Shimano both fail.
Love your videos 😁😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
Damn yuka!
Omg ! 😲
Ehh.. skip to 4:20 Then rewind if you want all the “content”.
Yuka. I think the reason you survive this stuff where others may not, is because of two things. 1. You are a very good athlete. You like to say you dont have skills but your raw athletic ability, balance and coordination are well above a normal person. You can even see it when you guys were rock climbing. 2. You DO have fear, but like very few you are blessed with the ability to perform despite that fear. Super rare and obviously a little frustrating for Eric and the rest of us. Also, Maintain your bike!!
