First I think unless it glitched
Hey evan! I have been gradually building up my hardtail over the last 3 years, only the frame has remained stock, I got an NX 12 speed drivetrain from a local guy but the cassette is shot for gears 6-11,
do you happen to know where I can get a cassette for cheaper than the 123 euro MSRP? thanks!
Too stiff eh?
Try two
its legit not your fork or bars
Nice
Try riding a road bike
Great video, good info and good loop.
What are the downsides of doing this? Seems almost too good to be true
Make sure you are experimenting with rebound settings. Would love to see whzt you think after another ride after doing this. I feel the same about my front fork. I dont quite understand how this makes it softer, but if you could explain, thatd be great.
Watch sam pilgrim’s cheap bike
Should I get a fox 36 or a rockshox pike
Nice “Hack”, however, I think 30% SAG is not what this fork was designed for. This is from the official Owners guide manual of the RXF 36 : “Sag should be set to approximately 10-15 % of the fork travel.” Im just some guy on the internet but i feel like going against recommended manufacturer settings completely and then wondering about lacking performance is kinda weird.
What if it’s a coil fork
This not a “hack” but a setting. Great short video tho.
Ohlins forks have a negative and positive air chamber that you can adjust
