Do realise that the shock has to withstand sideways forces as the pivot at the bottom of the triangle can’t because it’s a double hinge. Needed to even make this possible. Chances are this won’t have a good effect on the lifespan and the stick slip of the shock

I always wonder with these challenges when you say without prior trainjng do you mean go as you are now or no specific training for the challenge in your life at all? And with this you mean continuously or x amount of miles per day everyday until you got to the end?
I’m not saying i could do it, i’d try if i wouldn’t lose out (days off work etc) because it would be interesting to see how far i’d manage

It seems the bottom bracket height changes a lot in comparison to other shocks? It would be great to see how it compares to semi hidden shocks such as Scott spark and trek supercaliber?

Check out Boulder Bicyles. Their Defiant and Starship frame integrated the rear shock into the top tube 25+ years ago. The defiant also had 3 water bottle mounts and the frames were available in steel, titanium, and aluminum.
