I live in MA and they basically just passed a law that cars have to be 4ft away from cyclists…4ft on Boston roads is impossible….

I’m glad American traffic problems are exclusively American. Maybe one day they’ll realize that building car-centric neighborhoods is like building bycicle-centric homes.

Cyclists use roads made for cars because often there’s no other viable infrastructure (bike lanes, etc.)… Also why do you think that your transportation vehicle should take priority over other kinds? Bike are more efficient, healthier and less polluting, if we have to remove something from roads it’s not bicycles, it’s cars.
P.S. please stop with the YT shorts, this formats is unsufferable.

Some people should be relegated to be only allowed to own a tricycle,
TJ is one of them.
Just because you drive a car, a 4000 lbs machine that can kill people don’t mean that you own every road in Murica.
You take feels from cyclists who also use the same road as you do, and then you cry over how it’s an infringement to your selfish “freedoms”..
You’re a drama queen, fattie. Get some excorsize, and eat less cheetos.

I know this clip is from a really old vid, but it’s still a massive L, Cheejay. Just because America’s infrastructure is bad doesn’t mean bicyclists don’t belong on the roads. Should be blaming the government that the objectively better option for the climate is treated so hostilly by other travellers

Check your local ordinances – in most place “the rules” you mention specifically state cyclists have equal rights on the road.

More people using bikes is a good thing. America just neglects to make proper bike lanes, so they have to use the very side of the road or some will just be dicks and ride right down the center.

Cyclists are the ones getting killed by assholes in oversized cars out there. Can you imagine killing someone because they slowed down your commute by 5 seconds? Is that really worth someone’s life? Sell your 4000lb monstrosity, you don’t need it.

Nah, let em have the road, just keep em off the damn footpaths. There’s barely enough room on narrow-ass paths without having to make way for somebody zipping through at three or four times average walking speed. Better a motorist problem than a pedestrian problem.
