The movies are supported by the carmakers 😉
Who cares. Vehicles are for lazy people.
0.6? I didn’t expect that much actually
Infrastructure, cycle to work schemes, and making less pollution (noise, co2, etc) precious again
Bicycles are rarely seen in apocalypse or dystopian flicks, either. I mean, cars are abandoned, and suddenly people are riding HORSES? 🤣 Hollywood writers have such myopic vision that they completely omit bicycles! I can’t remember what it was, but I remember a movie or TV show with people walking past a ruined Prius with a bicycle in a bike rack without noticing the perfectly good vehicle RIGHT THERE (I suppose they could have been being ironic).
Netflix has a Danish series “Rita” (not for prudish folks), that depicts more bikes than almost anything else out there…mostly because it is set somewhere in the greater Copenhagen metro area. Still plenty of automotive representation, though.
the main reason I bike is because public transit sucks. biking is twice as fast as public transit.
I would rather ride in a vehicle if it were faster.
