I had this with a r9 390, and I just undercooked it slightly and it worked
Its power unit, not gpu!!!
Possible bad transistors depending upon when the card was brought
Card has to be returned. It could be a lot of uncertain issues. MOSFETs can overload and shut down to save the card or it can be the memory.
Ummm did the power supply have the proper rating for the card in that thing ??
My customer had the same issue, turns out it was a shitty psu.
The guy has a two pin connection ribbon to a single connection to PSU. I had this issue with my 3090ti but did 2 pins from PSU connected to 3 on gpu. Needs to be on 3 separate connections to PSU. In this case he needs 2 separate PSU to GPU pins to power it.
Seems to me like a thermal issue. Crap thermal paste application from the factory or a crap thermal pad. Either way definitely seems like it’s over heating and turning its self off so to not cook the chip.
Definitely clutch that he can return it or rma it for sure!
how stupid can you be…….
Bruh smh this shit just started happening with 3080 | 3800x 850 gold rated power supply. MW2 2022 updated today and it restarted my pc on launch
Thermal paste probably needs to be renewed
What Pc case is that
How can you fix a computer typing on its own? I’m having this issue and everything seems fine. The r key registers as the u key which doesn’t make sense. Really need help to fix this issue
Either the gpu is fake, or the fans need to be replaced, when the fans go bad it overheats, and fake gpus are basically skinned older gpus with fake heatsyncs, they spoof the vram, so a game uses more than it actually has, and it crashes.
check the paste and thermal pads. Some people are careless af when building those.
EDIT: People at the factory who build the graphics card, not the person who put the PC together
test it with windows 10
Its’s not that tiny, I would say it’s pretty average sized.
Re paste the gpu this happened to me it will be fixed
I have yet to see this dude come up with a solution other than a parts broken and replace it, no other trouble shooting steps taken. Would not take my computer to this guy
If u haven’t notice it’s a small form factor build. Meaning that majority of SFX build will likely get transient power spikes. This does happen to regular power supplies but not as often as small factor ones. Obv the only way to avoid this problem is to overspec ur power supply a bit. Basically the top tier 3000 series cards tend to have these transient spikes and cause the power supply to shut down to avoid any damage to itself
