i just did custom installation and my monitor shut off immediatly and didn’t turn on for 30 minutes. i then tried to turn my PC off and nothing happened. i had to unplug it from the power outlet and turn it back on that way. and the drivers were still not installed

Lol “pc repair” yes let’s just update the drivers and bios and yeet it back to them then when they have the problem again later we’ll blame it on windows and re install it and make more money instead of finding out that it just was poorly performing aio and the Temps would randomly thermal throttle the pc. You didn’t show temps, you didn’t check vram temps or core temps, did you even run benchmarks like cinebench or furmark to compare and see what’s actually going on when it’s not that game. Many times you can see a ton of issues by doing stress test and benchmarks because online games can be very hard for it to make a system repeat the exact issue as the maps are always diff and the players and servers and so forth. You guys are not real Pc techs. Your clowns 🤡

bruh doing express install is the way to go. new drivers sometimes just fuck with other games you play and having the option to instantly rollback a driver is so useful.

Clean install provides no benefit unless you’re switching from AMD, in which case you should be using DDU.
There is no benefit to doing a “custom clean install”

clean install doesn’t entirely fix the issues, it doesn’t actually CLEANLY install anything. Sure, it’s a basic first step, but if you don’t DDU, you really didn’t do much…

Tbh, BIOS updates has saved me from a lot of hassle couple of times. Once, i bought a new NVME SSD which could not ve detected at all in my BIOS. I have tried everything to fix it even tried returning it to the retailer, but they told me it worked fine. Then as a last resort, i updated the BIOS and it recognized the NVME right away. Even though there’s no mention of SSD/NVME compability improvement on the Bios patch notes 🗿.
