Agreed…I hate this new system. I want to talk to everyone…not just 7 people all day.
To change it…just give this new point system to 7-10 characters a day and the rest use the old point system.
It’s even worse than that. I wanted to talk to milim, but she wouldn’t show up, even after checking several times throughout the day. I gave up and just talked to someone else. They should at least make everyone present, at all times. No more of this waiting for it to refresh nonsense.

The consistent rewards thing is true that should be but only talking to 7 people and getting more exp is rly nice

I dont dislike it as much cause it was already starting to get tedious to do the 21 conversations, and now with 5 more characters included… But as I said if all the conversations were put on a menu with a one click thing I wouldnt mind it, it may also remove some lag from the game

I hate the 7 person limit. It’s awful..idc if you get more bond per chat. You get less coins, and you cant get bond for everyone. Its terrible.

Gift-wise, assuming you get 7 / 7 gifts, and assuming you also got 21/21 gifts and didn’t get 1 for each 7, both being tempest coins, you get more out of the 7. The issue is it’s less people to get gifts from, when you throw potions into the mix, as well as the fact that you may just not get a gift from some, I think you may lose out. I’m personally going to wait to see how many I have by the end of the month. I normally save up 600 to get the tempest recruit tickets monthly, if I have enough then I’m kind of fine with the system, if not then I think it should be changed a bit.
Note: All my people I talk to are 70% chance to give a gift.
About the bond itself: I personally don’t like it. I like the idea of slowly levelling bonds with everyone who I can talk to. Now I have to pick and choose, which, while it means the ones I want to level quicker will be levelling quicker, it means the ones who I’m not too bothered about but still would like levelled won’t be levelled for a while. I’m not a fan of that really. If I want to level people quicker I’ll feed them.. not that I want any of them to starve of course.
What I would change: I’d keep the 7, maybe a few more, maybe 10 bonds per day, but make it so the gifts revert. That way to get gifts you do have to talk to all characters, but those first 10 you talk to will give you that bond XP. I’d also probably make it so that you still get some bond from the other however many but a lot less, even less than from before the change. For example, I used to get around 232, I’d put it down to around 25 to 50 while keeping the first 10 at 600-700 ish.
lvl 30 to lvl 31 = 20 days with same character….
they have to HAVE TO raise they XP using food also if they plan to stick with this
cuz food 30/45/54 points are unrealistic
Let players choose 2 characters to be always in the town, make the characters give tempest coins based on our bond level with them
To me, the best thing they could’ve done is to make a parallel processing system where you can talk to all of the people at once and get all of the rewards and xp at once instead of individually talking to all of them.
So the new format is fine. The issue is the lack of materials being given each day and the inability to access characters to talk to without frustrating levels of RNG.
I did the update 2 days ago and since then I’ve received 7 coins day 1, 0 coins yesterday, and 4 coins today. At that rate I won’t be able to even afford half the 10 tickets next month, let alone anything else in the coin shop.
To fix, all they need to do is guarantee a minimum coin threshold (4-5) with the potential to get up to 7-9 and make it a 100% for the gift each day.
Secondly, just list all the town members on the same screen and let us scroll through them like we can our companions.
The update is fine, it’s just the lack of access to units and low threshold for materials being gifted.
So not only are you forced to waste your conversations to try to get the person/people you WANT to talk to cause the list itself doesn’t refresh just shift the characters around. With the increase in bond levels there’s not even a 5% increase in the chance of getting a present post conversation. From 21 to 45 is still 70%
The population increase doesn’t make sense either since we’re only getting ONE stat increase per level post 30. We’re being gatekept HARD for minimal rewards.
It’s not increased rewards it’s 7 characters who get triple bond xp when it should be 25 characters so the total bond xp attainable is less same with rewards we could get 1 to 3 coins or 1 to 2 stamina pots or nothing every conversation now it’s 1-10 coins 1-2 pots or nothing over 7 conversations way more rng needs to go in your favor to get the 600 tempest coins you need every month for the tickets
New thing bad, bring back old thing. Thank you. (I do not like this sam I am) Okay in all seriousness I would at least like my opening 14 people back. 7 is too little to grow folks. I wouldn’t mind if they put the exp back and put the old (kinda) system back where we can get ~200 per convo and speak to ~20 people because I was able to spread out the bond exp around.
Its a good change IF THEY WOULD LET YOU CHOOSE THE CHARACTERS AND NOT SHOW THE SAME CHARACTERS OVER AND OVER
I’ve been waiting for you to cover this huge nerf! Which is one of many stealth nerfs like the food event.
How I would fixed this? You can talk to 7 in Central and 7 in the riverfront per day. And have a predictable rotation of characters every hour. No rng when talking to your characters!
They should let us talk to 7 people till noon & 7 people afternoon at least. Sure, if now I get lucky I can get 70 coins a day, but since the update I’ve got 7, 15, 3 & 5 coins.
