Great video Chad. If I may, I have a suggestion for your garden. I’m not sure what variety of maize you tried to grow, but if you decide to replant you may want to use a Hopi variety, such as Hopi blue or pink, they have been selected for many generations to withstand dry conditions. You could also use Chapalote maize which is an extremely ancient breed and is also very hardy and can withstand drought. Looking forward to your next video!
I love your video great video I learned a lot

Umm ?
This is one of the first native plants I ever ate since I live in southern California. They are delicious.
Merhaba Chad…

Hii
So many memories as a kid with my grandpa… picking prickly pears! you did it same as him! thank you Chad!
We also make pie by drying the fruit. We use the method of burning the small thorns.
Tremendous I used to eat these as a kid so many seeds but they were fire. Only thing is they sting your hands if they weren’t cleaned right jaja
Pretty good harvest of some tasty looking fruit. Cheers, Chad!
is the taste similar to dragon fruit ?
Why do the fruits have thorns? I thought fruits are meant to be eaten to disperse the seeds through animal dung.
